Bumped from a
Volaris flight?
Denied boarding because the flight was overbooked?
You may be owed money.
No fee unless we recover for you

Did this happen to you?
We are investigating whether Volaris failed to properly compensate passengers who were involuntarily denied boarding because their flights were oversold.
- You had confirmed reserved space on a Volaris flight departing a California airport
- You checked in and arrived at the gate on time
- Volaris denied you boarding because the flight was oversold
- You did not volunteer to give up your seat
- Your replacement flight was scheduled to arrive more than one hour later
- You did not receive the full required compensation by cash or check
What you may be owed
200% of your one-way fare
If Volaris arranged transportation scheduled to arrive between one and four hours after your original international flight, compensation may be 200% of your one-way fare, up to $1,075.
400% of your one-way fare
If the replacement transportation was scheduled to arrive four or more hours late—or Volaris did not arrange qualifying transportation—compensation may be 400% of your one-way fare, up to $2,150.
Money, not just a voucher
Volaris generally must offer the required compensation by check or another immediately negotiable form. A travel voucher may be offered only as an alternative, with required disclosures.
Eligibility and compensation depend on the circumstances of the denied boarding and applicable federal exceptions.
